Keepa locales
Supported locales
KeepaVault works on every Keepa locale:
- keepa.com (US)
- keepa.co.uk (UK)
- keepa.de (Germany)
- keepa.fr (France)
- keepa.it (Italy)
- keepa.es (Spain)
- keepa.co.jp (Japan)
- keepa.ca (Canada)
- keepa.com.au (Australia)
- keepa.com.mx (Mexico)
- keepa.in (India)
The extension activates automatically on any of these domains. You don’t need to configure anything — your full preset library is available on every locale.
Saving and applying across locales
You can save a preset on any locale and apply it on any other locale. The filter field names and structure are the same across all Keepa locales, so a preset saved on keepa.co.uk will load on keepa.de without issues.
However, some filter values are locale-specific:
- Categories — Amazon’s category tree differs between marketplaces. A category ID from Amazon.co.uk may not exist on Amazon.de.
- Brands — brand names are usually the same, but some brands are only registered on certain marketplaces.
- Currency values — a “min price £10” preset will apply the number 10 on any locale, but that’s £10 on keepa.co.uk and €10 on keepa.de. The extension saves the number, not the currency.
In practice, presets that use universal filters (sales rank ranges, seller counts, review thresholds, Buy Box percentages) work perfectly across locales. Presets that rely heavily on specific categories or exact price ranges may need locale-specific versions.
Tips for multi-locale sourcing
- Use groups to organise by locale — create groups like “UK”, “DE”, “US” so you can quickly find the right presets for the marketplace you’re sourcing on.
- Name your presets clearly — include the locale in the name if the preset is marketplace-specific (e.g. “UK Wholesale — High Rank” or “DE Books Scan”).
- Clone and adapt — if you have a working preset for one locale, clone it and tweak the category or price values for another marketplace.
Future improvements
We’re working on locale-aware features that will flag when you’re about to apply a preset that was built for a different Keepa locale. This will help you avoid applying UK-specific categories on the German marketplace, for example.
