KeepaVault ("we", "our", "the extension") is a browser extension that saves and loads filter preset configurations for Keepa Product Finder. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data we collect

Account data

  • Email address — used for account registration, login, and account-related emails.
  • Password — stored as a one-way cryptographic hash. We never store or see your password in plaintext.

Preset data

  • Filter preset configurations that you choose to save — names, descriptions, and filter field values.
  • Metadata about your presets — count, Keepa locale, timestamps.

Data we do NOT collect

  • Browsing history or web activity outside of Keepa Product Finder.
  • Your Keepa account credentials.
  • Amazon account data or purchase history.
  • Data from pages other than keepa.com.
  • Analytics, tracking, or advertising data.

How we use your data

  • To authenticate you and provide the extension's functionality.
  • To store and retrieve your saved filter presets across devices.
  • To send you account-related emails (password resets, security notices, service announcements).

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Cloudflare D1, Cloudflare Workers). Cloudflare operates data centres globally with industry-standard security practices. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the extension — when you do, your account and all associated preset data is permanently removed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Export your preset data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
